Aims and Scope

The aim of the International Interdisciplinary Journal of Art (IIJA):
Considering the importance of art and the wide connection of various art fields with different
developments (cultural, economic, etc.) in the society, it is necessary to promote and properly

use artistic creations in various forms. Hence, The International Interdisciplinary Journal of
Art (IIJA), focusing on the interdisciplinary approach and with the aim of developing
interdisciplinary areas and topics of art even with other disciplines and professions, can be a
suitable platform for sharing knowledge in the art field.

The scope of the International Interdisciplinary Journal of Art (IIJA):
Considering the lack of scientific publications in the field of art in the country and generally
on a global scale, in comparison with other scientific fields, and also considering the lack of
specialized academic-art publications in English in the country and West Asia, in line with
the internationalization of art in the country and also to improve the international position of
the University of Art, the international publication of the University of Art was founded in
English with the title The International Interdisciplinary Journal of Art (IIJA). IIJA as the
first specialized art journal in English, with an interdisciplinary approach, welcomes articles
in the different fields of art (visual, applied, musical, dramatic, and architectural) that pay
attention to the areas and interdisciplinary subjects of art.
